Inspirational discovery of the day: Michael O’Connell (1898-1976). Mid century British textile designer, spent some time in Australia. Wish I could find more of his work.

Bottle cap brilliance
El Anatsui! Discovered by chance watching a film by Susan Vogel called Fold Crumple Crush: The art of El Anatsui. Unbelievable textile creations of immense proportions made with bottle caps. Worth seeing the video and artwork.
